Theme: Colonial Decadence

Cast:  Holly Aird as Juanita Carberry is caned by both Cathryn Harrison as Helen and Denholm Elliot as Jock Broughton.

Somewhat contraversial at the time, but the BBC used to go for authenticity. Based on the book by Juanita Carberry, the film manages three caning scenes, each heavier than the previous. Harrison plays the reluctant (at least in the first scene) caner well as does Elliot the sadistic step father.
